Today I had 5 - 6 hours of meetings, mostly focused on a single fairly political topic (office politics, not the electoral kind. Still, it comes down to blaming people, gaining power, turf wars and money, so they're pretty similar. By the time all that was done and you add in the three phone conversations (work related, but still lengthy), I didn't feel like I got much real work done. Bleh.

Makes a good day at work all the better after having one of these days, huh? Oh, the dreaded office politics. Go away.
